Operation Weight Loss

I need to lose a few pounds. How much? I don't know i just want to look in the mirror and like the way I look, because right now I don't so I'm putting myself out there. Something I thought I'd never do.

I'm showing you my before pics, and every week I will do an updated weight loss post and maybe this will keep me motivated since I've never kept track of it this way before. I'm hoping that since I have pictures it will help me lose the weight, keep it off and maintain it.

Right now my current weight is 145 pounds and I hate to say this but the only time I've been this weight is when I was pregnant so I'm a little depressed that I've let myself get to this point. But I'm on a mission not only to lose weight but eat healthier and continue to do so for the rest of my life. That's the most important thing.

One thing I am doing is taking OEP's (Oxy Elite Pro)  I have taken these before and they work wonders/ Here is what the site says about it

What is OxyELITE Pro

OxyELITE Pro is the #1 selling fat loss formula in America Today! Pharmacist formulated, this "Super Thermogenic™" has a potency that is absolutely unmatched.
Unlike other fat burners on the market today, OxyELITE Pro is backed by multiple University studies to PROVE that it actually works. And, unique unto the formula is that it specifically targets and turns OFF the very receptor that holds your body fat hostage, and refuses to let go.
Not only that, but OxyELITE Pro is specifically formulated to increase your metabolism, deliver long lasting clean energy, improve mental focus, instill a heightened sense of mental alertness, and most importantly, completely obliterate your appetite.
What we particularly love about the OxyELITE Pro formula...aside from its effectiveness...is that it doesn't make you feel wired and jittery, nor does it dry out your mouth and keep you up at night.
OxyELITE Pro flat out delivers results, and exceeds expectations like never before.
I don't plan on using these forever, thats not the point of these pills. Its to help me get to where I want to be, and as I get there I will learn about portion control and maintaining my weight. it's going to be hard and im going to have to have patience. But Im excited to see the results

Addicted to Smoothies

I don't know about you but I love sweets. 98% of the time I go to the grocery store I leave with some kind of candy or cake, so now I'm trying to rectify the situation. A few days ago I made my first smoothie (usually I go to Jamba Juice, good but expensive!) and I loved it. I used a small dole package because I didn't know how much I would like it. Well I ended up loving it, and got addicted really quick.

The picture above is a frozen fruit pack from Walmart. This bag is huge and is about $7 and will make me about 6 large smoothies, not bad! Now I bought a large can of pineapple juice to add to it, cause well I love pineapple juice. It makes the smoothie sweet enough where you dont need any sugar. So how do you make it? Simple

  • Frozen fruit, any kind
  • Juice, this is optional
  • A blender
Thats it. Healthier then junk food, but just as good

Almost 30...here's what I want to do!

You ever been stuck? That's exactly where I am and I know what I want to do, it's just a matter of getting from stuck to that place.

For the past two years I have wanted to be a makeup artist. I love all types of makeup. Everyday, bridal, dramatic, theatre, I love it all!! Well a few weeks ago it hit me that I'm almost 30 and haven't started doing what I want to do. So I have set a goal for myself.

When my oldest goes back to school I'm putting my youngest in preschool and in finding me a part time job solely to fund my makeup kit.

Over the course of five to six months I want to build a kit then do some work on family members to build a portfolio. It's going to take time, and its going to take patience, but I'm determined to have this as a career.

I hate that it took me until almost 30 to figure out what I want to do with my life. But I believe it's never to late to find your calling.

Viva Las Vegas!!

My husband and I went to Las Vegas in late May, just the two of us. Well we went again this past weekend with my brother and sister in law to celebrate my husband and his brother in laws birthday. We stayed at The Ventian and it is a GORGEOUS hotel. Our room looked like an apartment. I definitely recommend this hotel. We had an amazing time, lots of memories. Here are lots and lots of pics!

Coffee Bar

Arianna of ariannabelle.com has a blog post on creating a designated coffee bar and have everything you need for your coffee in one place. Here's the link

http://ariannabelle.com/blog/2012/07/coffee-bar.html

I loved her idea so I created one (seen below) I don't know why didn't think of this before seeing as my husband is an avid coffee drinker (now tea also) so like she suggested I out mugs, coffee, filters, and sugar all in one place. I also added tea and honey (my addiction lately) because this area is right next to the stove where I make the tea. Now it all makes sense and saves time so we don't have to go into cabinets and get what we need.
