I love going to the goodwill! It feels nice to find shirts that retail for $20+ for only $2 and less! If you didn't know 95% of my clothing is thrifted. I'm not a person who needs to have the latest and greatest piece of clothing. Id rather take $100 and buy an entire wardrobe, then take $1000+ for the same effect. Heres some tips I have if you want to thrift.
- Have a game plan before you go, and only get what you plan on getting
- See something you might like? PICK IT UP! Because someone else might get it, you can always put it back if you don't want it later.
- Give yourself a good hour to just browse and go through everything. Trust me I've found most of my items hidden between clothing.
- Try on clothes in the isle. Hell sometimes the dressing room is full, and you don't have all day. So if you love that shirt try it on in the isle.
- Wear snug clothing, this is to do the above.
- Have cash! never know if the atm machine may be down, with cash you cant go wrong
Heres my haul
A Forever 21, BCBG, and Hollister shirt. Plus a AUTHENTIC Tory Burch tote all for $7.46!!! I couldn't find one of these items in their home stores for this cheap. I'll definitely be going again within the next few weeks.
